MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRNEATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep that prodcut out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted.
Food may affect the absorption of ceratin vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This mediaction may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disordres (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescirption and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine wihtout doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cenetr or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitaimn supplement products available.
Some can be purchased witohut a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
